The activist of European Belarus consortium Andrej Mouchan was severely beaten by police for displaying the White-Red-White flag as an action of solidarity with Siarhiej Kavalienka on May 19.
“I could not sleep in night. Now I’m feeling a bit better. However, I have a headache and everything else hurts, too. I had a ward round today and I was I need to do my head’s examination,” says Mr. Mouchan.
Medics reported that after brutal actions against Mr. Mouchan he was diagnosed with a craniocerebral injury, jaw and ribs fractures and injuries of kidneys and legs.
Mr. Mouchan remains in a hospital.
