Flood in Homiel

Belarusian city received 79% of monthly rainfall ratio on one day.

Intense rain on June 10 caused flood in Homiel, Belarus. Several streets of the city remain under water hitherto, BelaPAN reports.

Running water caused a gap on one of the streets.

According to meteorological service, around 69 mm (69 liters per square meter) of rain fell on Homiel that day which makes 79% of the monthly rainfall ration.
