Belarusian “Wooden People” Wins Magnificat–2012 Grand Prix

Belarusian short film Wooden People received the grand prix of the VIII festival of Christian films and TV programmes Magnificat–2012.

The film shows the story of a senior man who cuts his own, wooden people.

Magnificat–2012 was held in Hlybokaje, Belarus on August 9–13. The festival gathered 16 films.

Nasha Niva / NN.BY is an independent newspaper. Its funds come from donations and newspaper sales. Thus Nasha Niva is the voice of society, not one of government. Nasha Niva was founded in 1906 and restored in 1991.

фильм какой-то мрачный обещает быть, это привлекает. Но зачем там Лука? Надеюсь, кроме этой пары фраз там больше не будет политики.
